50% Polwarth/25% Shetland/25% Natural tussah silk

This blend of Polwarth and Shetland wool and silk is an absolute delight to work with. It's so poofy, soft and textured. It will produce an exquisitely characterful yarn:

• soft as butter from the Polwarth
• water-resistant and warm from the Shetland
• luxurious and strong from the silk.

It has bags of elasticity, and is perfect for next to skin garments, like scarves, gloves and sweaters. If you're looking for fibre to spin for socks, look no further!

Each braid weighs 50g.

The Polwarth and Shetland wool in this blend are not superwash treated. Handwash gently to keep your makes looking beautiful for years to come.
