This spectacular sock-weight yarn has been spun exclusively for Cat & Sparrow by John Arbon Textiles in Devon.
It's a fantastic mix of lustrous, textured Romney and silk, which adds drape and strength to the 3-ply construction.
This yarn is perfect for socks, as Romney is warm, soft and hardwearing. Romney also resists pilling, but has a gentle fuzziness. It has a lovely toothy feel and great stitch definition, making it idea for colourwork, especially steeking projects.
Rolling Stone Sock (as it gathers no 'moss') is a really special yarn, and I'm very proud of it. I hope you love it as much as I do!
Each colourway is named after a song by the Rolling Stones, for a little extra fun!
