Desert Sunset- Romney/Polwarth/mohair
A firm favourite of mine - Desert Sunset is an intense blend of gold, rich orange and deep red. It reminds me of the sun setting over Monument Valley, its light catching the sandstone and setting the colours ablaze.
50% Kent Romney/25% Polwarth/25% kid mohair
This blend of three of my favourite fibres is an absolute winner. It has poofy softness from the Polwarth, silkiness from the fine Romney and strength from the supersoft mohair. Romney and mohair both take dye with a beautiful intensity that is offset by the softening effect of the Polwarth. It's perfect for socks and mitts as it's really hardwearing, as well as warm and soft. It drafts beautifully and spins up into a yarn that is pill-resistant with a gentle halo.
