Eri Silk - 50g

This soft, lustrous silk is a natural bronze/red colour, which comes from the castor leaves that the moth larvae eat as they grow. The colour has glorious depth and lustre - this is really special fibre.

Eri silk is often also known as 'peace silk' because the moth is allowed to eat its way out of the cocoon, creating a fibre that has shorter staple length than other silks.

This is a beautiful to spin by itself, and it also plays well when blended with other fibres.

Each lot is 100% Eri silk, and weighs 50g.
