WPI Gauges

These rather handy WPI (wraps per inch) gauges are made by Yarnistry from acrylic sourced and made in the UK.  

These are great for any yarny person, as they allow you to assess the suitability of a yarn for a particular project, and, if you're a spinner, to assess the uniformity of your spin and work out the thickness of the end result. 

These come with a really handy screw-shut wire loop. I attach mine to my spinning wheel, so that it's right there when I need it. 

Each gauge has information on the wpi for different yarn weights, and a simple thickness line for when you don't want to wrap the whole inch. Available in lime and sparkly purple.
