The Persian Turkish Spindle, designed and printed by Cat & Sparrow Fibres, is brilliant if you like to spin on the finer side, or you like a fast-spinning spindle of a size that will hold around 30g of yarn.
Cat says, "This is the second generation of my Turkish spindles, with improved design for the arms and edges. These spindles spin fast and long, perfect for experienced spinners or beginners alike."

Shaft length: 14.2cm
Weight: approx 18g (with 1g or 2g variance either way depending on the filament)
Materials
The spindle arms and shaft are made from PLA, which is a durable, biodegradable thermoplastic.

Fantastic spindle! It spins beautifully and packs very small. I've been carrying it with me for the last couple of weeks and using it nearly non stop. I'm up to 100m of fingering weight yarn!

This is my second Persian (I’ve lent my first one to a friend for her to learn on). I had no hesitation in buying another - they are very reasonably priced, they are lovely spindles to look at (I appreciate being able to choose my own colours), they spin beautifully and take a lot of fibre (I’ve just plied 2x25g singles together and was able to get the whole 50g on to the spindle) - what more could you ask for? As an added bonus Rachael is a very supportive seller to deal with.
A perfect spindle, I'm pretty new to spinning but it just a joy to use. Material feels lovely and it's spins like a dream. Came beautifully packed with some of the softest floff, will be ordering again soon.
