Kitty is our XS-sized spinning powerhouse! This is the third generation of our popular range of 3D printed Turkish spindles, boasting an improved design for the arms and edges. Its compact size makes it perfect for spinning on the go and ideal for creating delicate lace weight or cobweb yarn. You can also use this to spin darning yarn, embroidery thread or thread for sashiko.

Kitty Spindle Specs:

  • Arm Span: 4 cm

  • Shaft Length: 6.3 cm

  • Weight: Approximately 4g (with a 1g variance depending on the filament)

  • Components: Each spindle includes an outer arm (arm 1), an inner arm (arm 2), and a shaft.

Eco-Friendly & Care:

The spindle arms and shaft are made from PLA, which is a durable, biodegradable thermoplastic. 

Important Note: To prevent warping, do not leave your spindle in hot cars or near other heat sources.

I love this itty bitty spindle!!! It’s my current favourite for spinning cobweb yarns. Because it’s so small I can spin in any seat with ease. A slightly longer shaft would make this the perfect spindle for very fine yarns
