Scafell Pike is the tallest mountain in England (although not the tallest in the UK).  It's in the Lake District - one of the most beautiful landscapes that exists, in my slightly biased opinion. I spent many happy childhood holidays tramping about the hills and lakes. The colour of this fibre is a soft, burnt orange with olive undertones, like the sides of the mountain in winter.

50% Polwarth/25% Shetland/25% Natural tussah silk

This blend is an absolute delight to work with. It's so poofy, so soft and so textured. It will produce an exquisitely characterful yarn - soft as butter from the Polwarth, strong and warm from the Shetland, and luxurious from the silk.  It has bags of elasticity, and is perfect for next to skin garments, like scarves, gloves and sweaters.

Each braid weighs 100g.
