Sapphire & Steel was inspired by the BBC series of the 1970s-80s.  It starred official goddess Joanna Lumley and forever-hottie David McCallum as interdimensional detectives. This yarn also transcends dimensions, or at least it's a cut above the ordinary.  It's a lovely mix of soft grey-brown, sky blue and a hint of icy turquoise.

55% Superwash British Bluefaced Leicester wool/45% Silk
Approximately 400m per 100g

Oh-So-Fine Sock is a silky-soft sock/fingering weight yarn with excellent drape and a luxurious sheen. It's very soft against the skin, and is wonderfully strong. It's great for luxury socks, thanks to the hardwearing BFL and the strength of the silk.  Its softness and drape also makes it perfect for shawls and drapey tees.

The Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) wool is British in origin.  It's a fantastic wool to work with - next to skin soft, strong and warm, with a delicate sheen that's enhanced by the silk in this yarn.

This is a superwash yarn, so will not felt, but it's still worth a little care. To make your creation last, I recommend hand-washing, or using the wool-wash setting on your washing machine, and drying flat.
