Nimue - Romney/Polwarth/mohair
Nimue was the Lady of the Lake, who provided Arthur with Excalibur, and seduced and enchanted Merlin. This colourway is a blend full of contrasts, with the deep, petrol blue, bright olive green and pale stone.
50% Kent Romney/25% Polwarth/25% kid mohair
This blend of three of my favourite fibres is an absolute winner. It has poofy softness from the Polwarth, silkiness from the fine Romney and strength from the supersoft mohair. Romney and mohair both take dye with a beautiful intensity that is offset by the softening effect of the Polwarth. It's perfect for socks and mitts as it's really hardwearing, as well as warm and soft. It drafts beautifully and spins up into a yarn that is pill-resistant with a gentle halo.
