New England - Bluefaced Leicester/Silk

The colour was inspired by the glorious colours of the New England fall. The shades are richly autumnal, with gold, rust and olive taking on more muted shades in the BFL and bright ones in the silk. It's a real treat.

60% Bluefaced Leicester/40% Tussah silk

This blend of oatmeal Bluefaced Leicester and natural Tussah silk is a delight. BFL is deliciously soft and strong with a lovely character, and the silk adds luxury and drape. The oatmeal colour of the BFL and the natural, unbleached silk add depth to any colours dyed onto them. It's a dream to spin and also felts beautifully. These two fibres are well blended, making this great for beginner spinners and seasoned spinners alike. It would be perfect for luxurious socks, cosy mitts or scarves to keep out wintry gusts.
