Space Cowboy - Bluefaced Leicester/Silk

The colour is a mix of plum, raspberry, gold and dark olive, and reminded me of my favourite space cowboy, Malcom Reynolds, captain of the starship Serenity. Go on an adventure with this fibre and you'll never forget it.

60% Bluefaced Leicester/40% Tussah silk

This blend of oatmeal Bluefaced Leicester and natural Tussah silk is a delight. BFL is deliciously soft and strong with a lovely character, and the silk adds luxury and drape. The oatmeal colour of the BFL and the natural, unbleached silk add depth to any colours dyed on to them. It's a dream to spin, and also felts beautifully. This two fibres are well blended, making this great for beginner spinners and seasoned spinners alike, and would be good for luxurious socks, cosy mitts or scarves to keep out wintry gusts.
