Colours & Inspiration
A walk along the sandstone cliffs in Dorset brings you to the wild beauty of the southern English coastline. This fresh but earthy blend of deep rust, pale yellow, soft brown and turquoise makes a beautifully complex yarn. There is a streak of deep sea green silk running through it that really pops out in the finished product.
This is a beautiful soft blend of Merino, Bluefaced Leicester, Corriedale, Alpaca and silk in soft blues and oranges. The fibres used in this are perfect both for spinning and felting. The merino is buttery soft, and the Corriedale and Bluefaced Leicester give texture and strength. Alpaca is exceptionally warm and adds a pleasing fluffiness, and there is a streak of silk running through it to give the whole a little luxurious drape.
The blend is: 33% Merino, 17% Corriedale, 17% Bluefaced Leicester, 17% Alpaca and 16% silk.
The fibres are carefully sourced to ensure the highest quality, and the Bluefaced Leicester is 100% British wool, processed in the UK. All fibres that we use are from non-mulesed flocks.
Each braid weighs 100g.
