100% British Shetland

Shetland is one of my favourite fibres. It’s soft enough to wear next to the skin for most people. It’s springy, beautifully textured, strong and water resistant. It’s perfect for socks, sweaters, hats and mitts, and of course, for shawls.  This is a beautiful humbug blend of white and coloured Shetland, which adds a beautiful depth to the colour.

Colours & Inspiration

This Shetland takes dye so beautifully, and these autumnal colours suit it perfectly. It’s a lovely mix of olive, chestnut, gold, plum and dark brown that brings to mind a crackling autumn campfire, over which chestnuts are toasting.

Each braid weighs 100g.
